Hero prompt: “Find the flaw in my proof”
Find the flaw in the reasoning
Second chip on the landing. You already have a line of reasoning that convinces you — a pitch, a memo, a strategy. You need a partner that pressure-tests it without closing on “great point.”
When to use it
Before a board, an investor, or a cofounder alignment. When the thesis is elegant and you suspect it is too smooth. When you want the ways you might be wrong, not the ways you are right.
How Thinktree works here
Paste the argument and ask for weak points. Thinktree pushes on causal leaps, easy analogies, and missing proof. You can split threads: customer objection, operational risk, the alternative you are ignoring.
Clarify makes the branches visible. If one branch collapses, the others remain: you do not throw away the whole piece for one crack.
What it will not do
It is not an automatic fact-checker and it will not “win” the debate for you. You leave with a map of the holes. You decide which ones to close with evidence and which ones to accept as risk.
